Looks like another film will be joining Vikram's 'Rajapattai' this Christmas holidays. Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that the makers of 'Vettai' featuring an array of stars including Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul, are toying with the idea of releasing it this December itself than Pongal 2012 as it was initially planned.

Some sources also express that since Vijay's biggie with Shankar, 'Nanban' is seeing light of the day on Pongal 2012, the makers find Christmas holidays as a more bankable option. But what's interesting is that, Vikram's 'Rajapattai' and Linguswamy's multi-starrer 'Vettai' are both pucca mass masala entertainers and both are now touted to release together.

'Vettai' revolves around two brothers and two sisters whereas the story is set in Thoothukudi, music is tuned by Yuvan and Maddy will be seen as a laidback cop in the film. The cast and crew are having a gala time at the sets and it may be mentioned that major chunks of the film's portions have been canned.
