Farewell to 2011 (last quarter), will see the release of 'Ye Stupid Pyar', a Rom-com directed by Rakesh Jain and produced by JRD Films.

'Ye Stupid Pyar' promises fresh take on love and relationships with two new faces in lead, Jatin as Abhishek Khurana and Noopur as Neha Dalvi. JRD Films headed by its CEO Rakesh Jain has been a part of the industry since more than two decades with Distribution of Foreign films in India and has been regularly attending film festivals like Cannes, Berlin and Hongkong filmart etc... However it is their first full length commercial bollywood feature film production, with Rakesh Jain taking the responsibility of directing it as well.

When asked Rakesh why a fresh cast he said, "I was so inspired by the music of films like Aashiqui that I always wanted to make a romantic film on those lines. Audiences have a certain image attached in their mind for the established actors and having a very different and fresh story, this film required faces who do not have an image or a thought attached to them. Hence, fresh cast seemed as the best option. Then we took a lot of auditions and after auditioning around 400 people we finalised Jatin and Noopur as they fitted the bill so nicely that there were no two thoughts about signing them. In fact they have really stood upto my expectations and both are very dedicated and passionate about their work."

Music in the film, given by two music composers, Vipin Patwa and Reeky, is for todays young generation and it is strongly believed that the film has a chartbuster album bound to create a wave amongst the youngsters. Cinematography is done by M.A. Sheikh.
