He may not be a director known for his fine filmmaking attributes, but when Vijayendra Prasad is determined, he doesn't compromise on quality.

For reasons pertaining to achieving better quality output in terms of visuals and graphics, Rajanna will see delay in its release because the makers want to ensure that quality is not compromised. The period drama seems to be demanding time and cost from the director, Vijayendra Prasad.

It has long been suspected that the film will not release at the expected time. Nagarjuna steps into the shoes of Hanumanthu, who is named Rajanna in the movie, a rebel who revolted against the atrocities of the Razakars.

As is well-known, SS Rajamouli is to direct some action sequences. Well, it seems the same are being picturized on a much larger scale befitting the grandeur of the setting and premise.

Finally, it must be mentioned that Rajanna might release in the second week of October, going by some hints given by the makers.
