'Bodyguard' is a blockbuster and Himesh is ecstatic to see music for the film turn out to be chartbuster as well. In fact while BBC has announced that the song 'Teri Meri Prem Kahani' is the highest downloaded song in Asia, his title song from 'Bodyguard' as well as 'Desi Beats' continue to play on as well.

"I did 'Bodyguard' because I knew that the songs there had to be special. It is great to see the way these songs have been received by class as well as mass audience," remarks Himesh.

Meanwhile the theatrical promo of Himesh's next film as an actor, composer and singer, 'Damadamm', are playing across the country as well along with 'Bodyguard' which saw the biggest release of all times. While the promo is being noticed for its old world charm, Himesh has already unleashed the song 'Umrao Jaan'.

"Just like the music of 'Bodyguard' which was composed keeping in mind universal audience, you would see a similar blend in 'Damadamm' as well. It has the mix of both worlds and I am sure they would contribute to making this a cracker of a Diwali. This has been a good innings so far," he says.
