It was mayhem at the box office with only four out of six planned releases actually taking place in theatres. At the last moment both 'Mr. Bhatti on Chutti' were 'Rivaaz' moved ahead. Fate of 'Shabri' wasn't any better as it released only in Maharashtra. 'Stand By' and 'Yeh Dooriyan' saw scant release for themselves and ironically 'Chitkabrey - Shades of Grey', the worst of them all, saw a comparatively bigger release.

Result? Even the combined occupancy of each of these four movies couldn't touch the 20% mark. Out of the four, at least 'Stand By' deserved a better treatment for itself and to an extent, even 'Shabri'. However former came without any notable name attached to it while latter was delayed by years. Both these films found decent reviews coming their way but footfalls were clearly missing.

As for 'Yeh Dooriyaan', it turned out to be an entry into nowhere that proved to be it's undoing. 'Chitkabrey - Shades of Grey' was a pathetic attempt at story telling and it is shocking to see it being commissioned in the first place.

With 'Bodyguard' arriving in the middle of the week on the occasion of Eid, these movies are destined to meet a pre-mature end.
