Three films released over the weekend gone by and story was just the same as was the case a week before. Poor span of release, poor show timings, poor footfalls and near to nil word of mouth - all of this meant that 'Chala Mussaddi - Office Office', 'I Am Kalam' and 'Warning' have added on to the list of box office debacles that Bollywood has suffered over the last two weekends.

'Chala Mussaddi - Office Office' saw a better releases amongst the three and the collections too were in similar proportion. However this doesn't mean that the film managed to sail through. In fact the opening was only in 15%-20% range and didn't see any sign of improvement since reports were bad. There was no critical acclaim either which means this Pankaj Kapur film has done far lesser than even 'Khichdi - The Movie' which was again based on a TV serial.

As for 'I Am Kalam', it saw good reviews coming its way. However that didn't quite convert into collections since there was no notable name attached to the film. Earlier this year at least 'Stanley Ke Dabba' had the 'Taare Zameen Par' connection to it while Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor aggressively promoted 'Chillar Party' due to which they could boast of some respectable collections at least. Unfortunately for 'I Am Kalam' even that won't be possible as it doesn't promise much shelf life beyond a week.

As for 'Warning', neither did it get a proper release nor was it promoted at all. Leave aside audience; even critics didn't give this film a dekko which means whatever little was heard about this supernatural affair, it was negative, hence resulting in its eventual downfall.
