Ajay Devgn is enjoying the company of fresh co-stars these days. While he was seen opposite Bollywood newbie and south actress Kajal Agarwal in the recently released 'Singham', the star will next share the screen with B-town Shotgun Shatrughan Sinha's daughter Sonakshi. Indeed a new jodi to look forward, right?

Titled 'Son Of Sardar' (SOS), the film is said to be the remake of Telugu musical comedy 'Maryada Ramanna'. The movie will be directed by Ashwini Dheer and co-produced by Ajay and NR Pachisia.

As a matter of fact, Kareena Kapoor was said to be approached for the female lead for this venture. However owing to date clash the actress opted out of the movie. It is said that since she has 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai' sequel that is going on floors in January 2012 and in February when she is alleged to tie the knot with Saif Ali Khan, Kareena felt it best to refuse Ajay's remake venture.

Coming back to 'SOS'... It is heard that Ajay is keen to carry on his hefty 'Singham' image in this one too; for, although 'SOS' is more of a romantic film, it has good scope for action scenes too.

And as the title denotes, 'SOS' will be set in the backdrop of Punjab.
