Although Priya Anand made her debut in Tamil quite sometime back, we can rightfully refer to Jayendra's 'Nootrenbadu' as her big break in here. She was seen opposite Siddharth in this film, whereas Nithya Menen played the other female lead. The film received moderate response whereas the cinematography and the performance of the stars were well-received and much appreciated by all.

Kollywood grapevine now has it that this charming lady who juggles between Tamil and Telugu projects has been approached by Kamal Haasan's next venture, 'Viswaroopam'. If all goes well, she will be seen in this multi-starrer as one of the female leads.

It is said that she was called in for a screen test, to see whether she will fit the role well, later she met the team who briefed her about her role in the film. We had earlier reported that Isha Sharvani will don another key role in this flick.

However, for the female lead opposite Kamal the team is keen to rope in 'Rana' girl, Deepika Padukone.
