News was allover early this year as Nila of 'Anbe Aaruyire' fame, filed a complaint with the Delhi police against a person who was harassing her online and mailing her whereabouts to her friends. The unknown person was sending her vulgar messages and even went onto track her phone records, and this has been happening from mid 2010.
Although the actress initially thought it's the work of an obsessed fan, things got serious early this year and that's when she lodged the complaint. Each time the actress stepped out of the house her friends would get an e-mail of where she has gone and what she was up to, this freaked out the actress who shut herself up in her residence with the fear of being followed by an unknown person.
However, the culprit was identified last week and this came as a shock to Nila as although she didn't name him to the media, she expressed that she knew him for long and that the person must have done it out of jealousy. She also told that, since the person has attempted to tamper her career and reputation she is going to make sure he is punished for his acts.
And since the crime is one where the culprit can be bailed out, she is staying in Delhi the next few weeks to ensure there is enough punishment.
