Despite being a bankable actor whose box-office records are clean, Madhavan is never in a hurry to sign new projects. The south Indian star, who is equally popular in Bollywood too, has signed a new Hindi film now.

The 'contemporary and youthful love story' with enough dosage of comedy will have Bipasha Basu as heroine and Maddy is extremely thrilled about it. "It will be great to work with her," he says.

"She is an old friend and I am really looking forward to shoot with her. As far as the script is concerned, it is taking shape for a year now and I just love it." Ashwini Chaudhary will direct the film.

On his Kollywood venture 'Vettai', Madhavan says, "Lingusamy, as we all know, is a great story-teller. I have a meaty role to play in 'Vettai' and I sincerely hope that Run magic will be repeated."
