Chief Minister Jayalalitha expressed that she is against the killings and struggles Tamilians faced at Sri Lanka in the name of war. She also expressed that those guilty of this should be punished severely.

Our Chief Minister even went on to pass a resolution in our state assembly, calling for an economic ban against Sri Lanka by the Government of India.

And now, our own Ilaya Thalapathi Vijay has supported Chief Minister Jayalalitha's actions. He said that, "This news will serve as a relief to Tamilians from Sri Lanka who are now living in various countries as refugees. They have lost their relations, rights and belongings. I pray to God that in the coming days, our fellow Tamilians at Sri Lanka should live with happiness, prosperity and equal rights."

We are all hoping for the same, Vijay
