Filmmaker and Naam Thamizhar Iyakkam founder Seeman has decided to file a defamation suit against actress Vijayalakshmi for 'tarnishing his image' by 'levelling false allegations'.

According to sources close to the director, the charges made by Vijayalakshmi that Seeman had ditched after a promise to marry her were false, concocted and motivated. "There is not even an iota of truth in it", they said.

"Seeman spent most of his time in the last few years in prison and he had dedicated himself for the cause of Tamils, especially those living in Sri Lanka. He has no time for affairs and relationships", they said.

Meanwhile, there is a buzz that the director and pro-Tamil activist will marry a widow, who is a Lankan Tamil affected by the war in the island nation. He has given consent to the marriage after much persuasion by his comrades".
