Look's like the actor turned politician is busy with too many things at hand right now. Vijayakanth first had a good win at the state elections, the results of which came out in May. The actor-politico then revealed that he will not put his acting career in the back burner just because he is in politics. He also forgave his arch rival during the elections, Vadivelu!

Now here comes news that Vijayakanth has decided to make a hero out of his second son.

Shanmugha Pandiyan is his name, and he has just passed his +2 exams and will soon be joining Loyala College to pursue a degree in Visual Communication. But since the youngster is quite interested in the film industry his father seems to have made the decision for his son.

It seems the captain is entertaining prospective directors to come to him with good stories. Vijayakanth and his wife Premalatha are reported to be hearing good scripts which would become the launch pad for their son to join the Tamil industry.

Irrespective of many necessities the top slot for being in films down South is to have a godfather and when it is a person of Vijayakanth's stature to take care of the basics we can be sure of getting to see Shanmugha Pandiyan as a hero!
