Noted composer Aadesh Shrivastava's elder brother Chitresh Srivastava recently passed away in a car accident.
Chitresh, who is the manager of renowned Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, had been in travelling along with the singers troop in Chicago for a concert when the accident happened. While Rahat and three other people in the car narrowly escaped, unfortunately Chitresh died on the spot.
According to sources, Rahat was travelling in the car just behind Chitresh's. The driver of the SUV in which Chitresh was travelling said to have lost control and the vehicle rolled over several times, killing him on the spot.
As a matter of fact, before Chitresh became Rahats manager, he used to assist his brother Aadesh. He had also been assistant music director in films like Aankhen, Zameen, and Major Saab among others.
What is more disheartening is that, Aadesh is just recovering from his battle against cancer.
Veteran star Amitabh Bachchan along with director Prakash Jha had visited him and his family after Chitreshs demise. Sharing about the gloomy atmosphere at their home, Bachchan wrote in his blog, Aadesh himself distraught and and shattered, struggling with cancer, uncontrollable misery for him. Calm him down and go across to him. Sad and desolate atmosphere. This talented youngster, now shorn of all his physical attributes because of the chemo .. masked and broken down .. sit with him in consolation .. take Prakash Jha along with me .. he had had 'Rajneeti' music done by Aadesh.
We at IndiaGlitz extend heartfelt condolence to Aadesh and his family ..
