As expected, 'Teen Thay Bhai' totally tanked after a pathetic opening. There were no takers for this weird tale that suffered on all counts, be it promotion, treatment, opening, reviews or word of mouth. Resultantly, despite being a solo release of the week, 'Teen Thay Bhai' plummeted further with every passing day and crash landed with a mere 3.5 crores to show. Despite its low production costs, the film is still a box office failure and a total no-show for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra who entrusted the responsibility of direction to a first timer.

All of this meant that 'Thank You' continued to enjoy it's place under the sun and somehow managed to keep it's head high by seeing only a 60% fall when compared to the first week. The film saw continued patronage from family audience which means there were 12 crores added to the film's total, hence resulting in collections to the tune of 42 crores. A coverage affair now, it may just about manage to hit the 50 crores mark if it manages 3-4 shows for itself in next few weeks. It is quite tough though since there are 4-5 new films releasing every week from now till end of May. Due to this very reason, it is currently a wait and watch situation for the film.
