Dull phase in Bollywood means that some of the earlier releases like 'Patiala House' and '7 Khoon Maaf' managed to gain some respectability for them as well. Not that an open phase suddenly converted them into hits. However just when these films were on the verge of total disappearance after an unimpressive first week, a clean season of around a month meant that these Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra starrers managed to hang on for some more moolah to be added to their kitty.

So while 'Patiala House' has now crossed the 32 crores mark, even '7 Khoon Maaf' has crossed the 18 crore mark and would reach the 20 crores milestone.

Other two milestones of the week gone by were 'Band Baaja Baaraat' and 'Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji' completing 100 and 50 days respectively. This is a good enough fate for the two films in a time when business for films is restricted only to the opening weekends. While 'Band Baaja Baaraat' has topped 22 crores, 'Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji' has come close to the 29 crores mark.
