The six hundred years old cave at Nesargi seven kilometers from Murugodu village in Dharwad district so far not utilized by film makers is the cynosure when the film ‘Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna’ comes on silver screen.

This historical film in Kannada starring challenging star Darshan, Nikitha, Srinivasamurthy and others shot for five days in this cave. Even if we spend Rs.50 lakhs for this kind of hideout it is not possible to erect says director Naganna who has completed 40 percent of the shooting so far. This is the hideout of Avaradhi Veerappa (played by Srinivasamurthy).

The unit of ‘Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna’ finished the major schedule of 38 days in Jaipur where the winning and losing battle plus durbar scenes were completed. The 25 days long schedule in Mysore is in progress now. After this schedule the final schedule will be Belgaum says Naganna.

Sri Sangolli Rayanna Cine Combined, Belgaum headed by producer Anand Appugol is producing this mega venture in Kannada. This will be the most expensive film in the history of Kannada cinema that too for a historical cinema.

Keshavaditya has penned the screenplay, lyrics and dialogues for the film. Yashovardhan is the music director. The chief cameraman is Ramesh Babu. He has used seven cameras for the war scenes in ‘Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna’. Photogenic 500 is used for the first time. Chinni Prakash and Shivashanker are the choreographers. Ravi Verma has handled the stunts.

Darshanis paired with Nikitha. Shashikumar, Dr Jayaprada, Srinivasamurthy, Shobaraj, Umasri, Doddanna, CR Simha, Ramesh Bhat, Shivakumar, Dharma, Saurav, Satyajith, Brahmavar, Karibasavaiah, Killer Venkatesh, Aravind, Biradar, Vijayasarathi and others are in the cast of ‘Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna’.
