Sanjay Dutt is getting ready with his next production venture. Although currently he has his debut production ‘Rascals’ on hand, the Munnabhai famed star is planning to remake Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Satte Pe Satta’ and his father, Sunil Dutt’s 1963 movie ‘Mujhe Jeene Do’.

While he will feature in ‘Satte Pe Satta’ remake, in ‘Mujhe Jeene Do’ remake Dutt wants Ranbir Kapoor to main role which his father did. He feels that Ranbir is the ideal choice for the film. "I have been telling him that he should do a macho film. Romantic films are okay but a hero should look like a hero on screen," revealed Sanjay to sources.

Besides, he wants to totally transform the film and make it suitable for contemporary audience. Added the actor turned producer, "The story will now be based in Mumbai and the protagonist will be more of a gangster than a dacoit.”

Hmmmm, wonder how Ranbir will fit into the rough-tough avatar….
