'Mazhavillinattam Vare 'at Thalassery

Famous lyricist-scriptwriter Kaithapram's maiden venture in movie direction 'Mazhavillinattam Vare' has kicked off its shoot at Thalassery. The cricket stadium of the town formed the backdrop of the first day's shoot where former cricketers Syed Kirmani and J K Mahendra faced the camera. The movie which tells the story of young Pakistani cricketer's life-changing journey to India will have Abbas Hassan, a Canadian-born, London-based Pakistani singer playing the lead role of Yassin Mubarak Azad, the cricketer. He comes to Kerala to conduct a camp for a team of young Kerala cricketers, but also has his own secret mission to follow.
The movie will also have ArchanaKkavi, Saikumar, Salimkumar and a host of artists in the cast lines. The music for the flick is by Deepankuran, Kaithapram's son while A. Mukundan, produces the movie under the banner of Valluvan Kadavu Creations.
