In the new movie 'Pathiramanal' expected to kick off its shoot by the end of this March, young star Jayasuriya is to replace superstar Prithviraj who was originally casted in the lead role. To be scripted by Babu Janardhanan for director M Padmakumar, the movie was in the news for its strong subject lines. As of now, Tamil star Samuthirakani who made an impressive debut into Malayalam with the movie ‘Shikaar’, will don the second lead in this movie with Jayasuriya. Reema Kallingal would be the heroine of this movie. Produced by Dhanush creations, 'Pathiramanal' will be an offering for next July.

Few of the readers will also remember that it was the same team of Babu Janardhanan and M Padmakumar, who had helped Prithvi to earn his first State award through their ‘Vaasthavam’. If the star persists to keep away from the new movie, it will be of interest to watch whether it will end up as a costly miss.
