Over the last few weeks there were been numerous speculations making the rounds around who would eventually be directing 'Dabangg 2'. Though Abhinav Kashyap had directed 'Dabangg', there were talks about creative inputs coming from Khan brothers (Salman as well as Arbaaz) all through the film's making. Also, once the sequel was announced, it was also said that all was not being well between the Khans and Kashyap with one of the major reasons of disagreement being the high price tag that the one time director now came with.

This was the time when rumours around Arbaaz Khan or Sohail Khan calling the shots for 'Dabangg 2' began as well. However, Arbaaz has now come out in strong defence of his director and has gone on record to state that there are no plans to change the director here.

"Abhi tak toh aisi naubat aayi nahi hai," he smiles, "I don't want to change the winning combination. Abhinav is committed to make the sequel with us and as of now, he is on board as well. One can never say much about tomorrow. Unless something drastic happens over a course of next one year, there is going to be no change in the director."

Well, as long as there are 'Chulbul Pandey' and 'Munni' to entice audience, one doesn't mind any other change in the film.
