Buzz is that the Hindi remake of Gautham Menon’s hit movie ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ has been called off, owing to several reasons.

According to sources, the lead actor Prateik Babbar opted out of the project and things had been difficult to find an actor to replace him.

Besides, it is heard that things were not going smooth when the British model Amy Jackson was roped on for the leading lady. The ‘Madrasapattinam’ actress was finding it hard to learn Indian mannerisms and emotions.

Thus one thing lead to another and finally the project was cancelled.

Hmmm, looks like the time is not right for ‘VTV’ to enter Bollywood….. Or maybe the film’s success story is only meant to be enjoyed by the South… Like they say there can be only one masterpiece…..
