Priyamani, whose last release in Tamil was Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavanan’, says she is very much ready to do a Tamil film and in fact waiting for a solid offer.

The actress, who is currently busy with projects in Tollywood and Sandalwood, says, “I didn’t come across any meaty role from Kollywood for quite some time now. I am waiting for one.”

Saying there is no point in acting in films just for the sake of earning money, the actress says, “I am open to challenging offers. And I guess my skills have improved after working with filmmakers like Mani Ratnam, Ram Gopal Varma and Ameer.”

Meanwhile, Priyamani-starrer ‘Raththa Charithram’, directed by RGV with Suriya and Vivek Oberoi in lead roles, will hit screens this Friday. “The name of my character in Raththa Charithram is Bhavani and it is an interesting role.”
