Mumaith Khan, who won the hearts of Telugu audiences by dancing to the tunes of several hot numbers as an item girl and who played heroine in few films is entering into the field of entertainment.

She held a media briefing at Film Chamber to give details about her future course of action.

She says, ‘There are several talented artistes in the State. We are planning to hold talent shows to bring out the hidden talents in them. We are going to launch an organization called ‘Sugar Candy Entertainments’. We are planning to do several entertainment programmes for the screening of TV channels. We will first take up entertainment programmers related to TV and Cinema. We give preference to events first. Once we gain confidence after holding these programmes, we will start film production too with the talented artistes. Our aim is to produce films which could be screened during film festivals. Our main ambition is to encourage the talented artistes, especially the local artistes in the state. We will spend the amount which we gain through these programmes for the welfare activities. As far as my career, I am playing an important role in ‘Nenu Naa Raakshasi’ directed by Puri Jagannath. Though I launch this entertainment organization, I continue to do item numbers and special songs in movies.’
