Mysskin was the cynosure of all eyes at the 7th International Film Festival of Tamil Nadu 2010, organised by Manickam Narayanan of Seventh Channel in Chennai on Thursday...

Speaking on the occasion, the filmmaker said, "Today Tamil film industry is in a bad shape. There is a lack of good films. Though my ‘Nandhalala’ is different, there are no takers for the movie and it is still lying in cans."

Taking a dig at Rajinikanth, he said, "If I ask my family 'come let's go and watch a film', their first choice would be a Rajinikanth film! Will they ever say we want to go a good film?"

Stating that he is making a Hindi film with John Abraham, Mysskin said that he had not seen a Hindi movie for a long time and also preserves his "virginity" by not watching Tamil films as well for many years.

He also said he would rate his earlier two ventures 'Chitthiram Pesudhadi' and 'Anjadhey' as third grade movies. "Because, I also succumbed to so called commercialism in films and included kuthu numbers," the director said.
