It has been two and half years since the release of 'U Me Aur Hum'. The film was special for Ajay Devgn since he had also directed it. Ever since then, he has been seen in over half a dozen films. However, there is no news yet on him calling the shots again for next film of his. Though there are on and off snippets that are being thrown around his direction plans with indications being that he would making an action film next, there isn't anything concrete in this regard.

Going on record about his plans for future, this is what Ajay has to say, "Yes, for the moment I am concentrating solely on the films that I have already signed as an actor. I need time to plan out my next directorial outing. It has to be something special and I need at least six clear months to get things in place for it before I start shooting."

Currently, he is busy with the shoot of 'Tez' as well as the promotional activities for 'Golmaal 3' and 'Toonpur Ka Superhero'.

"I cannot be directing a film during the clutter period of reporting to sets as an actor for other films. I would be able to get started only towards end of next year," declares Ajay.

Well, this should lay all speculations to rest.
