superstar of south Rajinikanth was on cloud nine when his darling, second daughter Soundarya tied the nuptial knot with Ashwin, today morning. The grand wedding took place in Chennai, which was touted to be most awaited event in the south.

A star-studded engagement-reception unfolded yesterday evening, which was graced by several south biggies and few B-town celebrities. Veteran actress Sridevi had come to bless the couple along with her hubby-producer Boney Kapoor. Later Rajinikanth’s ‘Robot’ co-star Aishwarya Rai and her husband Abhishek had turned up; both in matching black evening wear. For the wedding, ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam and wife Suhasini had given their presence.

Rajinikanth’s wife and elder daughter Aishwarya along with her actor-husband Dhanush was by the bride’s side.

Outside the avenue, thousands of Rajini fans had gathered to have a glimpse of the special guests and glittery ongoing inside.
