The industry is seriously buzzing with this news….

B-town’s rising ‘Prince’ Vivek Oberoi is reported to have been issued notice by the Delhi High Court.

A recovery suit of Rs.4.86 crore was sent to the actor and his Delhi-based firm Yashi Multimedia Private Limited by Mumbai's Mehta Entertainment Company. Besides Vivek, the notice was also sent to his father Suresh Oberoi and his sister Megha Oberoi, who are also partners in the firm. All the three have been asked to file their replies by November 1.

As per the suit, Vivek in 2003 entered into an agreement with the company to do stage shows in Canada and US; however he later on backed off from the event citing bad health. But Mehta Entertainment had by then paid Vivek and his company an advance amount of Rs. 1 lakh.

In spite of numerous letters and legal notices by the entertainment company to return the said amount, the Oberois didn’t respond to any. Following which the company resorted to more serious step.
