Dunno Y...Na Jaane Kyun gets IFFI, London Nod

Sanjay Sharma's ‘Dunno Y... Na Jaane Kyun’ is receiving praises at various film fests. With the international media lapping it up and the film being chosen at the I View New York Film Festival, winning an award and the closing ceremony of Kashish Mumbai International Queer Film Festival, the latest news is that the film has been selected at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in London.

To make it even more special, the film will be screened at the historic Riverside Studios, which has been enjoying a cult status for above 25 years as the hub for original and groundbreaking cinema and is frequented by 15,000 British cine goers.

‘Dunno Y...’ would be sharing the stage with filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra for his retrospection of work. It is also going to be premiered along with Aamir Khan's ‘Peepli [Live]’ and Vishal Bharadwaj's ‘Ishqiya’.

The film marks the comeback of Zeenat Aman who stars alongside Helen playing her daughter-in-law, and Kapil Sharma,Yuvraaj Parashar, Maradona Rebello, Rituparna Sengupta.

'Dunno Y...' also portrays relationships, especially gay relationship with all sensitivity that the subject deserves. After wowing people in South Africa, US, Canada, UK, etc, ‘Dunno Y... Na Jaane Kyun’ is ready for the IFFI audience’s feedback this August.
