The so called dated ‘Milenge Milenge’ had slated an impressive 7.5Cr nett. Starring the ex flame Shahid and Kareena, ‘Milenge Milenge’ was delayed due to many reasons and finally the producer Boney managed to release the film with some help. Directed by Satish Kaushik, the movie which talked about ‘love and destiny’ did impressive business in the Hindi belt.

The film has fetched total revenue of 15.21 Cr through satellite rights, Home Video, music rights and the overseas circuit. The film which has an investment of around 15-16 crore including print and publicity and is likely to produce revenue of over 21 crore including the Indian Theatrical returns, giving a 30% plus return on investment which is a rarity today.

Milenge Milenge, inspite of all the hurdles, has turned out very well for the producer Boney Kapoor due to good rates today for satellite rights. Even theatrically it may do better today than it would have done earlier as director Satish Kaushik states “Both Shahid & Kareena are bigger stars today and people are willing to pay to see the couple onscreen, maybe for the last time”.
