Aamir Khan the Bollywood perfectionist knows how to play, when he plays, it stays and plays ‘cause Aamir plays it well. Wondering what we are talking about then hold on….

We all know Aamir is a fabulous actor, a thinking producer and director, a strategist when it comes to movie promotion, an intellectual who respects and believes in individuality and of course a singer….. remember the cult ‘Aati Kya Khandala’ from Gulam, well yesterday his dream to ‘beat it’ came true. Aamir played drums and surprised everyone, boy.. he was good.

Amir was encouraged by the band members of Indian Ocean, and went on stage to enthrall the audience with his percussion skills. Aamir even played Mumbai's favourite Dandiya beats to show us he can do it all. Said the actor, “I used to think as a child that I would perform on stage with a band and finally I got an opportunity...thanks to Indian Ocean”.

The music launch showcased live performances by the band Indian Ocean, as also Nagin Tanvir (theatre personality Habib Tanvir's daughter) and actor Raghubir Yadav. Villagers of Badwai joined Raghubir to sing Mahangaayi, their folk song which features in the film and is already a rage.
