Major Ravi starts 'Kandahar'

As usual with the making of his every other films, Major Ravi has started the formal shoot if his latest ‘Kandahar’ by canning the essential military operations. This time the director, who specialises on military stories, is shooting the operations at the Dehradun, Indian military Academy. Based on the infamous Air India flight hijack, the movie will be a thriller.

Though the shoot has started a week ahead of the initial schedules, the major stars of the movie will only join the sets by next week. As per the latest information Mohanalal, Amithabah Bachchan and Ganesh Venkatraman are the part of this big movie. Lal will once again come up as Colonel Mahadevan while Ganesh will be as a commando, one of his trusted aides in the movie. Amithabh Bachchan appears in a short cameo as a business bigwig, who is the father of an youth traveling in the hijacked flight. While Tamil hottie, Kaveri Jha will be donning the role of an air hostess in the film, Kannada star Ragini Dwivedi will be in the role of other heroine.
