Yup, after breaking the Guinness world record for maximum public appearances in twelve hours while promoting 'Delhi 6' last year, actor Abhishek Bachchan again scored ten out of ten last Saturday when he hopped to ten different locations in Mumbai to promote his next most awaited 'Raavan' helmed by the master Mani Ratnam starring his better half Aishwarya with south star Vikram along with Govinda and Ravi Kissen.
The actor toured the city with an entourage of six dancers dressed as characters in the song Thok Di Killi from 'Raavan' and attracted crowds since morning.
The locations on his schedule in Mumbai included - Metro Cinemas (near Churchgate), Kalaghoda, Wilson College, Phoenix Mills, Bandstand, Juhu, Mithibai College, Inorbit Mall (Malad) and Cinemax (Versova).
Abhishek was rejoicing while meeting and greeting his fans on his way in an open trailer. He also threw goodies like 'Raavan' key chains and T-shirts to his fans, who merrily joined in the fun.
The promotional stint did not cause any traffic jams thanks to four cars of security and police personnel accompanying the Bachchan.
'Ravan', which is said to be inspired by Ramayana releases on June 18, Abhishek plays the role of Beera which is believed to be inspired by Ravana. The movie, co-produced by Reliance BIG Pictures and Madras Talkies, also features Aishwarya Rai as a dance teacher a la modern day Sita who is happily married to a policeman a la modern day Rama played by Tamil superstar Vikram, Govinda role is inspired by the character Hanuman and Ravi Kissens role gets its inspiration from Vibhishan the character of Ravans brother in the methodological epic.
Bollywoods current success Raajneeti had its characters inspired from the Indian epic Mahabharata twined with Coppolas God Father, now all eyes are on Raavan who has it characters inspired from Ramayana twined with the life of revolutionary communist, Maoist leader Kobad Gandy who are coordinated the naxalite activity in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Maharashtra.
