After he got his divorce from his wife Lalithakumari, Prakash Raj has made public his love for choreographer Pony Verma and he has also expressed his intention to marry her soon. Prakash Raj recently appeared with his new companion at the special screening of his first directorial venture ‘Nanau Nana Kanasu’ recently.

Reacting to the public appearance of the pair Prakash Raj's now ex-wife Lalithakumari has simply said “let them be happy”. She also said her children are her priority now and she will work for their well being.

So Lalithakumari is returning to acting. She was into films before she married Prakash Raj and did quite a few films as a comedienne opposite Goundamani and others. After divorce she has again taken to acting seriously and signed her first film 'Muriyadi' opposite Sathyaraj.
