Reliable sources say that Raavan is going to be released all over the world on June 18. Though Manirathnam is tight lipped about it, post production work is going on at a brisk pace in Chennai.

It has already been announced that Ravan will be screened at Cannes Film Festival in May and Mani has been hurrying his team to complete the work well in advance, as he also needs to take care of promoting it.

Telugu dubbing is presently going on at Chennai. Vikram himself is dubbing for Telugu. He has been taking utmost care in dubbing as his character speaks a rural slang.

Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachan, Vikram are the lead stars in this trilingual film being dished out in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

The film is raising curiosity for various reasons and the most important one among them is that it depicts Ramayana from Ravana’s point of view.
