Ramakrishnan who was an assistant to Cheran became a hero with ‘Kungumapoovum Konjum Puravum’ and got good reviews for his performance. After that he was signed for 'Vetkathai Kettaal Enna Tharuvaai' directed by Tabu Shankar. The first schedule was completed and now we hear Ramakrishnan has been removed from the film. The reason is said to be Ramakrishanan's priority towards ‘Goripalayam’. Because Ramakrishnan has given bulk dates to ‘Goripalayam’ he could not be available for the second schedule of Tabu Shankar's film.

Meanwhile Tabu Shankar has also begun his second film 'Valluvar Kottam' and even completed a schedule of shooting. This time he has chosen 'Muruga' Ashok who is also the hero of 'Vaanam Partha Cheemayile' which is ready for release.
