The news looked promising when it said that Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif will come together for Anurag Basu film. The buzz had it that Ranbir will be playing a dumb-and-deaf guy while Priyanka will feature as a mentally retarded person.

However, latest update from the film’s front says that Katrina has walked off from the project. Looks like the beauty is not all fine in sharing the screen space with another actress. But sources close to Kat revealed that she in fact has other plans due to which she can’t get committed to this one. The actress is reported to produce the remake of a French film and she is pretty excited over it. Said Katrina, “I am finally about to lock the deal to produce my film. It's a fabulous role and I've been angling for the remake rights for quite some time. I'd like to get down to it as soon as possible.”

She dismissed the fact that she is uncomfortable to act with Priyanka and stated, “I am not saying I won't do films with other leading ladies, but for now, I'm happy in the space I am. Why should I unnecessarily rock the boat?”

Besides this, Kat has three projects on hand namely Farah Khan's ‘Tees Maar Khan’, Zoya Akhtar's next and ‘Dostana 2’.

Hmm, wondering what will happen to her role? Well, it’s heard that southern bala Asin might don the part.
