The accolades and appreciation coming from ‘Paa’ and ‘Ishqiya’ is not limited to India for the gifted B-town beauty Vidya Balan.

The actress has been invited to Wharton to attend the 14th Wharton India Economic Forum (WIEF), where she will speak on the globalization of Indian cinema.

Vidya will be at Wharton for the next three days after which she will be finishing some personal work there and will return to Mumbai on 1st of April.

The 14th WIEF will be held at the Park Hyatt Bellevue Hotel in Philadelphia today where Balaji Telefilms joint managing director Ekta Kapoor will also speak on the topic: Women in India: Breaking the Glass Ceiling.

Vidya is a panel member at the 14th Wharton India Economic Forum (WIFE) its list includes names like Anil Kapoor, Kunal Kapoor, filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Prime Focus CEO Namit Malhotra and musician Shankar Mahadevan.

Needless to add Vidya is riding high and with interesting films like Chenab Gandhi and No One Killed Jessica knocking at 2010, Vidya is certainly making her presence felt outside the screen also.
