T S Sureshbabu, the director of super hits like ‘Kottayam Kunjachan’ and ‘Uppukandam Brothers’ is back with an action thriller this time. His new flick after five years titled as ‘Kanyakumari Express’ will once again present Suresh Gopi as an action hero armed with guns and pistols.

Based on the script by Dennis Joseph, the movie will have Suresh Gopi as Mohanshankar IPS, a former city police commissioner who is presently engaged in research activities. Kollywood star Sonia Agarwal will debut in Malayalam playing the heroine of the movie which will also have Suraj, Jagathy, Harishree Ashokan, Shanavas, Kiranraj, Urmilaunni, and Gowry Nandha in other important roles. The movie is presently being shot at locations in Thiruvananthapuram and Kanyakumari.
