The last week of February is going to be the first week of Kacheri Aarambam. Director of the Jeeva-Poonam Bajwa starrer Thiraivannan has confirmed that the movie would see the light of the day on February 26.
We were about to release the film for Pongal itself. But some patch works, including a song in Agra, delayed Kacheri Aarambam. Mixing works are currently on and the final product will be out on February 26, he says.
On roping in Nisha Kothari for an item number, the debutant director says, it is not an item number actually. The song comes at a crucial part and it would be one of the highlights of the movie. We thought Nisha would be apt for it. Rs one crore was spent for this particular number.
Ask him about Kacheri Aarambams storyline, he says, Dont force a girl who doesnt like you. Dont leave a girl who loves you. The entire film is based on these two lines. Popular Telugu actor J D Chakravarthy plays the villain.
Elaborating more, Thiraivannan says, Chakravarthy, who falls for Poonam, asks Jeeva to leave her. The consequences Jeeva face after he refuses to part ways with Poonam is what Kacheri Aarambam about.
