According to sources, Akshay Kumar along with his close buddy and businessman Ajay Virmani will organise a fundraiser event in Toronto, coming year. The event will aid to give home to several old people there especially the ones who were brought in and later abandoned by Indians.

Virmani confirmed the news saying that Akshay is keen to do something for these helpless citizens. “A lot of Indian people bring their parents with them but don't take care of them. They are dependent on their children and often end up becoming babysitters. They have no life of their own. Akshay wants them to have a place they can call their own,” stated Virmani.

Besides, Akshay has also helped raise a lot of money for Canadian hospitals including one for sick children. Last year, he got half a million dollars for making an appearance at the TrillionHospital but he donated the amount to the hospital, revealed Virmani.
