The Karnataka Governor H.R.Bharadwaj at his first Kannada film muhuruth ‘Mandhahasa’ (meaning beautiful smile) of Advik Motion Pictures Private limited on Tuesday at Hotel Ashok preached a lesson for the entire film industry. According to Governor Bharadwaj observations the films made in the country should be constructive to the society. The sex based films are not in our culture. In western parts like USA and Britain it is evident in the films but not in Indian context. The makers should learn this and make films accordingly called up Governor of Karnataka HR Bharadwaj. He sounded the clap board for the maiden shot of ‘Mandhahasa’ produced by Basava Reddy. Smt Parvathamma Rajakumar switched on the camera for the muhurut.

The younger genre should be taught our culture and not the western unnecessarily said Governor Bharadwaj. We pray in our culture Goddess Lakshmi and Saraswathi to obtain wealth and knowledge. The wealth and knowledge is not possible over night he said. The Karnataka governor quoted the ability and strength of icon of Kannada cinema Dr Rajakumar. Dr Rajakumar is a historic personality without coming to politics like his contemporaries NTR, MGR and others. When Dr Raj was kidnapped by Veerappan the entire state wept for his release. Because he has been a model and his films are eye openers. In such footsteps the Kannada cinema industry should go ahead opined the governor.

The triangular love story ‘Mandhahasa’ Kannada film hero has Rakesh and Nikki in the lead roles. Rajesh Nair heading is the megaphone. Santosh Rai Pathaje is the cameraman. Chetan, Srinath, Alok and others are in the supporting cast. Veer Samarth is the music director.
