Not happy with the remuneration she was offered for Prakash Raj’s production venture ‘Naanu Nanna Kanasu’, a Kannada remake of ‘Abhiyum Naanum’, Divya Spandana has walked out of the project with a ‘heavy heart’.

She had shared this news with her friends on a social networking site. The actress wrote that she will not be a part of the Prakash Raj-directed movie as she could not accept low remuneration from the actor-filmmaker.

It is to be noted that Ramya had even attended the movie’s launch that took place recently. Following her decision to opt out of the project, she has been replaced by Amoolya. “I am no more in ‘Naanu Nanna Kanasu’. Amoolya who had replaced me is capable of delivering a very good performance,” Divya said.

Meanwhile, Shylaja Nag, the co-producer of the film was quoted as saying: “Divya’s attitude has really hurt us. From the day she was approached for the project she was demanding money. We had offered her a great role even though we were cautioned by many film industry friends that we had made a bad choice.”
