‘Kannabiraan’ ropes in real-life IG!

Looks like Ameer is keen to paint the real things on reel to T.

The latest update on Kannabiraan’s front is that the director has given space on the screen to the city’s Inspector General of Police! Jaffer Sait, who belongs to the Intelligence Branch, will be featured as a police officer in ‘Kannabiraan’.

Following this golden opportunity, the Inspector is said to have taken special permission from the government to act in the movie.

Earlier we had Devarajan, a real journalist, playing an important role in Ameer’s ‘Yogi’. Now with ‘Kannabiraan’, one can appreciate the filmmaker’s creative approach in bringing real people on reel.
