After ‘Ayan’, we expected K V Anand to join hands with Karthi. But, now we hear that Karthi was awed by the screenplay of ‘Vada Chennai’ narrated by director ‘Vettrimaran’ and has given a nod to it.

The actor had immediately assured the director that he is ready to commit himself with Vettrimaran for ‘Vada Chennai’ after finishing his works for ‘Naan Mahan Alla’. The actor had also told that he is interested to produce this film under his home banner Studio Green. Unfortunately, Vettrimaran had already handed over the film to producer Durai Dhayanidhi.

While the arrangements for the film are going on, the film’s makers have approach our Andhra Mirchi Anushka for the female lead. Reason- According to the script, the heroine is a Marwari girl. And the team felt that Anushka would be the best choice for the role. Now, the makers of ‘Vada Chennai’ have called the hot girl’s manager to talk business...
