Besides comedy, ace director Priyadarshan seemed to be having serious projects running on the parallel track. The recent National Award winner is busy working on AIDS based movie and as earlier said will have Aamir Khan in the lead. However, things are yet to be finalised, according to sources.

Says Shailender Singh, the joint MD of the production, “AIDS is the working title and we are planning to release it on December 1, 2010, which is World AIDS Day. We plan to have big names in the movie, but the film won’t have a lead heroine, though it’ll feature actresses.”

The film is said to be realistic yet fun-spirited one. “ While we are using AIDS as the platform, its light-heartedness is integral to the movie. This is one of Priyadarsan’s most ambitious projects and he has put all his muscle into it,” stated Shailender.
