After a long list of directors, it is now the turn of a producer to become actor. P S Gopal, who made Prashanth starrer ‘Thagappansamy’, is playing a baddie in a movie titled ‘Uchakattam’.

The film produced by Gopal himself is being directed by KBB Naveen, who had worked under cinematographer P C Sreeram and director K S Ravikumar. About the film, he says, “It is a romantic entertainer. With action and comedy in the right proportion, the movie will be full of thrills and spills.”

‘Uchakattam’ stars Gemini, Flora and Miss Karnataka Swathi in the lead roles. ‘Ganja’ Karuppu is the comedian. The credits include Senthil Kumar (cinematography), Charles Merlyn (music), Pazhani Bharathy, Andal Priyadharshini (lyrics) and Mohan (arts).

“The movie has got all features to attract masses to cinema halls. I am hopeful that ‘Uchakattam’ would make it big in the box office,” says Gopal with all hope.
