Indian films stepped on the red carpet of Toronto International Film Festival, standing different from the rest through ethnic colours, glitter and style. Besides that our films had landed in the venue with head-turning entry. While ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ made a Bhangra entry with Punjabi dancers, ‘Cooking with Stella’ team came in colourful rikshaws for its premier.

Director Dilip Mehta, the casts – Lisa Ray, Shriya Saran, Don McKellar and Seema Biswas had attended the festival to promote their ‘Cooking with Stella’.

Lisa Ray looked ravishing in a beautiful long purple gown and all-time smiling; hiding a disease like multiple Myeloma behind her charming looks. ‘Cooking with Stella’ is a story based on a foreign family who hires a cook Stella, only to find out later that she is in fact a crook. McKeller and Lisa play husband and wife, Seema Biswas plays Stella. While Shriya plays a nanny who uncovers the reality of Stella. About her character, Lisa said, "It is by far the most normal character I have ever played, so that made it the most difficult character for me to play."

According to sources, the audience seemed have enjoyed the movie very much and the movie was said to be well appreciated.
