Anil Ambani's Reliance Big Pictures has paved way for few Hindi films to go overseas. The broadcasting and digital rights of films namely Ghajini, 13B, 'Luck By Chance', 'Karzzzz' and 'Rock On!' have been purchased by Korea and China. While Ghajni is sold to Korea, the other movies are bought by China.
Jawahar Sharma, COO of International Film Business at BIG Pictures stated, "Indian cinema is gaining ground with the entry of Ghajini into Korea and our four titles into China. It is for the first time that an Indian action film reached the shores of this South Asian nation, which has an appetite for action films."
Each of the movies follows different kinds of genre which would cater to the variety of audience in these two countries.
Looks like our Desi Cinema is going global!
