The ‘Munbe Vaa’ gal tied the knot when she was about to reach the height of her career. The decision made her fans to wonder at her return to the screen. But Bhoomika is not the one to make you disappoint. She came back with a promise to do more films. Her Malayalam movie ‘Bhramaram’ opposite Mohanlal, is making waves in Kerala. Here in Tamil industry she has couple of films – ‘Maa’ and ‘Kalavadiya Pozhudugal’. The latter is an interesting offer by Thangar Bachan and the charming actress will be leading lady of dancing Master Prabhudeva, along with Prakash Raj. Thangar Bachan had previously given ‘Onbathu Roobai Notu’ which was critically acclaimed and now we have to see how this one will fare.

Bhoomika is really happy with the offer and equally excited for playing a family girl character in it. She is impressed with the director who makes cinema like real life. The actress said, “I’ve been waiting for long to do such a role. ‘Kalavadiya Pozhudugal’ has fulfilled my dream.”

She is also getting into serious production work after this. Bhoomika will produce a Tamil movie, ‘Yagam’ and Telugu ‘Thakita Thakita’. In ‘Yagam’ she will don the heroine role but the hero and the technicians are yet to be finalised. Whereas the Telugu project will give platform to several newcomers and it is going to be a romantic story. Hmm, so much behind the pretty face!
